This Privacy Policy explains how TechSpatch Logistics LLC ("FlipScout," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use FlipScout (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address and password (passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see your plaintext password).
- Preferences: your chosen track (wholesale/rehab), target markets / ZIP codes ("buy box"), and the deals you save to your pipeline.
- Billing information: handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your card number; we receive only your subscription status and a customer identifier.
- Usage information: basic logs and interactions needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service — show deals matching your markets, run your pipeline, and manage your subscription.
- To send you deal alerts and account communications via the channels you choose (such as email or Discord).
- To improve, secure, and support the Service.
3. Service Providers We Share With
We use trusted third-party providers to run FlipScout. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage of your account and deal data.
- Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy).
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- Real-estate data providers (e.g., RentCast) — supply the property data behind your leads.
- Notification providers (email/Discord) — deliver your alerts.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Referral Links
Some partner links in the Service are tracked so we can receive referral or affiliate compensation. Clicking them may record that you clicked (associated with your account) so we can attribute the referral. See our Terms and Disclaimer.
5. Data Security & Isolation
Your data is protected with row-level security so that you can only access your own account, pipeline, and preferences. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile, buy box, and pipeline data.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
